On January 9, 2012 in the "North American Auto Show 2012", launched in 2012 Acura NSX Acura Concept.
The new concept of maintaining a 2-door coupe, mid-engine, rear-wheel drive formula. The weight kept down through use of high technology platform which is made of new lightweight materials. Power comes from a V6 mounted behind the two hosts that send power to the rear wheels and coupled with an electric motor. Acura SH-AWD system combines an electric motor in dual-clutch transmission, forming a hybrid setup. In addition, two more motor can immediately send negative or positive torque to the front wheels during cornering for improved handling and efficiency. Acura claimed the system is all-wheel-drive a new super car will deliver acceleration while offering better efficiency. Acura did not release how much horsepower with V6 engine and three electric motor will produce.
