A Poppy Is to Remember
The red remembrance poppy has become a familiar emblem of Remembrance Day due to the poem In Flanders Fields. These poppies bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War I, their brilliant red colour an appropriate symbol for the blood spilled in the war.
11 November 1918 is the end of World War 1.
To remember the victims and veterans of World War 1 then every November 11 as Remembrance Day made by Commonwealth countries.
Remembrance Day is also called Arminitice Day
Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day; the original intent of Armistice Day was to honor the Dead.
